Our Story
My name is David, and Jac Electric Inc. is more than just a business — it’s my family’s story.
My dad immigrated from Colombia to Boston, USA, with nothing but a dream and a strong work ethic. He started out working in industrial factories as an electrician. All he could afford with his first paycheck was a basic tool bag and a conduit bender. He didn’t speak English, and with a baby on the way, he spent countless nights reading electrical code books, manuals, and business guides — determined to learn everything he could and one day start his own company.
After gaining over 10 years of experience, he moved to Mississauga, Ontario in 2003, where I was born. By then, he had the knowledge and drive to take the next step. In 2004, he started Jac Electric Inc. — just him, his tools, and a small van. No fancy setup, no big team — just one man doing honest electrical work and slowly building relationships in the community.
Today, we continue that journey. At Jac Electric Inc., we specialize in panel upgrades, EV charger installations, and all types of residential and commercial electrical services in the East Credit and Mississauga area. We’re ESA certified, and everything we do is rooted in the same values my dad started with: hard work, learning, and doing things the right way.
