Electrical repairs & small jobs

What needs fixing
in your home?

JAC Electric provides electrical troubleshooting and small repairs in Mississauga. Whether one outlet has stopped working or several lights are giving you trouble, tell us what you’ve noticed. We’ll assess the issue and explain the work needed.

Outlet repair & replacement

An outlet stopped working or won’t hold a plug?

We check faulty receptacles and their connections to identify the problem. We handle outlet replacement and assess requests for additional outlets where you need them.

Tripping breakers & circuit problems

The same breaker keeps switching off?

We investigate the affected circuit and what is connected to it before recommending a repair. Tell us which rooms lose power and what was running when the problem happened.

Switches & dimmers

A switch doesn’t work or your dimmer acts up?

We troubleshoot lighting controls, replace faulty switches and install compatible dimmers. Planning a smart switch? We can check whether it suits your existing wiring and lights.

Light fixtures & flickering lights

A light flickers, won’t turn on or needs replacing?

We assess lighting faults and replace ceiling lights, pendants and other fixtures. Let us know whether the issue affects one fixture or several lights around your home.

GFCI & outdoor outlets

A bathroom or outdoor outlet won’t reset?

We investigate GFCI outlet problems and loss of power at outdoor receptacles. We assess the outlet, its protection and the connected wiring before recommending the next step.

Electrical fault finding

Several outlets or part of a room lost power?

You don’t need to know where the fault is. Tell us what still works, what stopped working and when it started. We’ll use those details to begin troubleshooting.

Do you take on small electrical jobs?

Yes. You can contact JAC Electric for a single outlet repair, switch replacement or light fixture installation. Have a few items on your list? Send them together so we can discuss the work and arrange a suitable visit.

Tell Us What Needs Fixing

From the first call to the repair

What to expect
from your service call.

Getting help with an electrical problem starts with a simple description. Tell JAC Electric what’s happening in your Mississauga home, and we’ll help you work out the next step.

Tell us what’s happening

Let us know what stopped working, when you first noticed it and whether the problem comes and goes. Include your postal code and any other small electrical jobs you’d like us to look at.

Discuss the visit & assessment

We’ll review your details and discuss scheduling and the assessment needed. Some replacements can be scoped from a description and photos; an unexplained electrical fault may need on-site troubleshooting before the repair can be priced.

Understand the repair needed

Once the cause is identified, we can explain the recommended work. The scope depends on what we find, access to the wiring and any parts required. Ask us to confirm the repair cost and whether a separate visit is needed.

Can you give me a price before visiting?

For a straightforward replacement, photos and a clear description may help us estimate the work. Troubleshooting is different: the visible symptom doesn’t always tell us where the fault is. When booking, ask what the service call or diagnostic charge covers and how any additional repair work will be quoted.
